Why I built this: Built to turn structured public JSON content into a usable long-form browser reading experience with better navigation, scrolling, and presentation.
Overview
TV Canon is a client-side web app that transforms structured public JSON into a large browsable reading experience. The project was designed to make a large body of content easier to explore in the browser through responsive presentation, theming, and more polished long-form reading behavior.
The app handles hundreds of pages of content, HTML parsing, and advanced scrolling concerns entirely on the client side. Rather than acting like a static document dump, it aims to provide a smoother app-like experience for navigating large structured content collections.
Features
- Renders structured public JSON into browsable content pages
- Supports hundreds of pages of content
- Client-side HTML parsing
- Advanced scrolling behavior for long-form reading
- Responsive themed interface
- PWA delivery for app-like browsing
