Why I built this: Built to make StatCounter tracking integration easier to reuse across React projects through a lightweight package instead of repeated one-off embedding.

Overview

StatCounterJS is a small React library for embedding StatCounter invisible tracking tokens in web applications. It was created to turn a narrow analytics integration task into a reusable package with a simpler developer-facing workflow.

Rather than re-implementing the same tracking setup in multiple projects, the library provides a cleaner abstraction for React-based applications that need StatCounter support. The project also included ongoing maintenance as a published package rather than a one-off app build.
