Why I built this: Built to explore the math behind Spot It / Dobble-style card generation while delivering a responsive and visually playful browser game.
Overview
Find-It is a responsive browser game inspired by Spot It / Dobble, built around the mathematical structure of finite projective planes. The core challenge was generating valid sets of cards where each pair shares exactly one matching symbol, then turning that structure into a lightweight, playable web experience.
The project combines game logic, Twemoji-based visual assets, lazy loading, and mobile-friendly interaction patterns in a PWA format. It was also one of the earlier projects developed with meaningful AI assistance from ChatGPT 3.5 and GPT-4 during implementation and iteration.
Features
- Spot It / Dobble-inspired browser gameplay
- Finite projective plane-based card generation
- Twemoji-powered symbol graphics
- Responsive UI for desktop and mobile play
- Lazy loading for efficient asset handling
- PWA delivery for an app-like browser experience
