Status: active | Type: tool | Visibility: public
Tech: Next.js · JavaScript · Tailwind CSS · PWA
AI involvement: moderate (ChatGPT) — Built as an AI-assisted weekend project for portfolio discovery, client-side metadata handling, and app presentation.

Why I built this: Built to create a cleaner way to browse and present a growing collection of small PWA projects from one responsive portfolio interface.
Overview
App Folder is a portfolio-style PWA for browsing a directory of web apps from a single responsive interface. Rather than hard-coding every listing, it focuses on client-side discovery and presentation by reading project metadata and manifest files dynamically.
The result is a lightweight app catalog that can surface project names, icons, and basic details in a way that feels closer to an app launcher than a static portfolio page. It was built as a weekend AI-assisted project using Next.js, Tailwind, and client-side web app patterns.
Features
- Responsive portfolio-style app listing interface
- Client-side discovery of project metadata
- Manifest-driven icon loading
- Lightweight catalog view for many small web apps
- PWA-based browsing experience
- Designed for scalable presentation of a growing project collection
